onCourse Server on Linux

You need to download both the server and client for onCourse to work

ish onCourse runs on many platforms – Linux is just one of them.

Installing onCourse Server on Linux, Solaris, and any Unix variants

You will need a JVM of at least 1.5.0 installed in order to run onCourse. See “requirements“node/277

Download the unix package and transfer this file onto your server

Extract the contents of the package using tar commandline utility ie.

tar xvf onCourseServer.tgz

This should extract a directory onCourse with two files in it.

• onCourseServer.sh
• onCourseServer.jar

Please read the onCourseServer.sh carefully as this will explain how to start succesfully start onOncourse.
