You need to download both the server and client for onCourse to work.
Solaris is an enterprise grade operating system from Sun. onCourse Server fully supports the stability and power this platform offers
Installing onCourse Server on Linux, Solaris, and any Unix variants
You will need a JVM of at least 1.5.0 installed in order to run onCourse. See requirements
Download the unix package and transfer this file onto your server
Extract the contents of the package using tar commandline utility ie.
tar xvf onCourseServer.tgz
This should extract a directory onCourse with two files in it.
- onCourseServer.sh
- onCourseServer.jar
Please read the onCourseServer.sh carefully as this will explain how to start succesfully start onOncourse.
