onCourse System Requirements

To run ish onCourse you will need to meet these minimum requirements.

• onCourse Server minimum 2Gb installed RAM but 4Gb or more preferred for larger installations
• onCourse Client minimum 1Gb installed RAM but 2Gb preferred if you are running other applications at the same time.

• Windows 95 right through to Windows 7 with Java 6 or later
  • Windows users will need Java installed. If you don’t already have it, click here:
    

• Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 (PowerPC or Intel). Java 5 or 6 will already be included. Either will work, but Java 6 is better.

• FreeBSD with Java 6 or later

• Linux with Java 6 or later

• Solaris 10 with Java 6 or later

Check what version of Java you are running. Java is free and easy to install.
