Unix

In particular, with the popularity of Mac OSX, we are seeing many Apple resellers having to deal with the Unix-like kernel for the first time. Many have few problems until they need to configure sendmail, bind, mySQL or any other daemon beyond the capabilities of Apple’s GUI interface. Likewise NetInfo can be an extremely powerful tool for distributed network authentication.

Networking and security

You cannot be an expert in everything, and networks are an area that can get complicated very quickly. Our partnership with Astaro and wide network security experience give us the tools to advise you and your clients.

Programming

Our areas of expertise are Java, WebObjects and 4D. With these tools we have been able to build client/server systems and high availability web applications.

So, you are wondering, will we come in and pinch your customers? Given that we make a tiny fraction of our income from sales, and almost all from support and programming, our business is about providing assistance. We are happy to enter non-compete agreements on a case by case basis, or to simply provide the support directly to you the reseller. We want to make you look good to your customers.
