Audio/Video Setup page

• Please allow permissions for the site to use your cameras and microphone.

• The page will display which camera, microphone, and audio output is being accessed and used

• Click continue to be directed to the lobby

Lobby 

• This is a place to do technical checks and test features. It is also the default room the user will be directed at upon logging in.

• When logging in the first time, a prompt with a tutorial for basic navigation around the space will pop-up.

• A/V settings bar at the bottom - Toggle the camera and microphone on or off

• Action bar for sending emojis and an icon indicator (ear icon) if the room has proximity audio turned on or off. 

  • Proximity audio - this will allow the user to only hear other users inside their proximity. The proximity is identified by the blue halo around your bubble when clicked.

• Icons on the right are for:

  • Profile - edit your profile or log out

  • Settings -  current A/V and other advanced settings, as well as tutorial and help center

  • Find my bubble - clicking this icon would outline your user bubble

  • Zoom options - zooming in and out

  • Room chat

• World name and room list on the top left of the screen

  • Clicking on either bar will display the list of available rooms for the user

  • This can be used to navigate through different rooms 

    • Click on a room name from the list > Join room

• Interactions

  • Click and drag your bubble to move around the room

  • Clicking on another user will let you view their profile, send vibes, or go to them. 

  • Audio/Video - left side of the centre couch

    • Video tutorials on how to:

      • Allow browser access to mic/camera

      • Check audio/video settings

  • Going to different rooms

    • Upper left arrow signs

      • Green room - or the meeting room

      • Events room - this is for personalised events and the room will require a passcode

    • Wall area

      • onCourse (left) - ish onCourse room

      • Virtual events room (right) - ish Online Events and Classes room

  • Help callout - whenever you get stuck or find an issue around the platform, clicking into this will redirect you to submit a ticket for our support team.

  • Mobile phone - book a call with our team member.

• This room is dedicated to display what onCourse offers

• Interactions:

  • The television - clicking this will display a pop-up of onCourse features website page.

  • Close the pop-up by clicking on the exit (X) icon on the upper right corner of the pop-up. 

  • Icons displayed below the television correspond to the icons displayed in onCourse features web page. Clicking into any of these icons will redirect you to the own feature’s web page, opening a new window on your browser

    • Return to the platform by clicking into the tab it is opened to. 

  • Room arrow signs

    • Lobby - will take you back to the previous room

    • Online events - ish Online Events and Classes room

    • Green room - meeting room 

  • Help callout - lower right corner of the room on the side of the chair 

  • Mobile phone - book a call with our team member.

  • Platform interactive features shown:

    • Having a website display inside the room; or

    • Opening a new window to redirect the a desired URL

    • Getting redirected to a different room without going through the room list

Online Events and Classes

• This room is focused about the integration of the platform into onCourse

• An area built for events or presentations. 

• Proximity is turned on for this room.

• The podium can be used to encourage Q/A’s, where an admin can set an user as a speaker

  • Speakers will have a larger bubble compared to others 

• Interactions:

  • Room arrow signs

    • Lobby

    • onCourse - ish onCourse room

    • Green room - meeting room

  • Logos -  onCourse and Double A labs

    • Clicking into any of the logos will display a pop up of the websites.

  • Screen - displays a presentation about the platform as a learning hub offered by onCourse.

    • We recommend zooming in to clearly view the presentation.

  • Other room designs - this section will display an image of other room designs, and how it can be customised further. Click on the rooms:

    • Classroom 1, Classroom 2, Theatre, Events space, Lobby, Breakout room

  • Brochure - click to view a downloadable PDF of an onCourse digital brochure

    • We recommend zooming in to clearly view the presentation.

    • This can be downloaded as well

  • Help callout - lodge a ticket for us if you encounter any issues
