Audio/Video Setup page

• Please allow permissions for the site to use your cameras and microphone.

• The page will display which camera, microphone, and audio output is being accessed and used

• Click continue to be directed to the lobby

​

Lobby 

• This is a place to do technical checks and test features. It is also the default room the user will be directed at upon logging in.

• Initial login will prompt a tutorial for basic navigation around the space.

• A/V settings bar - Toggle the camera and microphone on or off

• Action bar for sending emojis and an icon indicator if the room has proximity audio turned on or off. 

• Icons on the right are for:

  • Profile - edit your profile or log out

  • Settings -  current A/V and other advanced settings, as well as tutorial and help center

  • Find my bubble - clicking this icon would outline your user bubble

  • Zooming in and out

  • Room chat

• World name and room list on the top left of the screen

  • Clicking on either bar will display the list of available rooms for the user

  • This can be used to navigate through different rooms 

• Interactions

  • Click and drag your bubble to move around the room

  • Clicking on another user will let you view their profile, send vibes, or go to them. 

  • A/V Tips - Right side of the room

    • Video tutorials on how to:

      • Allow browser access to mic/camera

      • Check audio/video settings

  • User icon - Middle of the room

    • This will display an image how the login page looks

  • Going to the next room - Left side

    • Clicking next will redirect the user to the next room (Classroom)

    • Note: Classroom will require an access code

Classroom

• This room is a sample setup for class. Interactions in this room can be changed and customised depending on the class/event to be held.

• Proximity audio icon is green indicating that it is on for this room

• Moving the user bubble will display a blue circle around it indicating the area where you will be able to hear other users.

Breakouts room

• Area where users can be split in different groups and allows them to have a discussion amongst each other without the other groups hearing it

• Proximity audio is on for this room

• An area built for events or presentations

• The microphone can be used to encourage Q/A’s, where an admin can set a  user as a speaker

  • Speakers will have a larger bubble compared to others 

• Interactions:

  • ‘Take survey’ 

  • Click on the screen to display the ish onCourse website

• Navigate here by clicking on the room list on the top left corner of the screen
